1984

the first picture was inspired by George Orwell's magnum opus- 1984. The font used was Helvetica, which fortuitously made me notice the "You" in the poster. Coincidentally the YouTube logo was made in Helvetica, which led me to modify the poster.

Sidereality

'Twas a Cold blowy April night,
Summer was waiting for spring's baton;
Music was gushing with all its might,
Was it Bach or Beethoven?

Ruminating I was on my humble bed:
Is it late? Has the time come yet?
Have I money or is all spent?
Newspapers untouched and four hundred!

Pulled I ,the drapes from the lackluster view,
And let my thoughts astray to the arcane wild.
I was after all into this race beguiled,
Cursive with many a lactic sinew.

Shall I rhapsodize my apathetic state;
To be eulogized by mine minds' figments?
Canned laughter serves my inner taste,
Assured returns for my vapid investments.

Stars were far and shining bright!
Radiated long back a time ago..
Filtering through, ages the sporty light;
Reached my eyes, and shed its cargo.

Vermin crossed the holy land,
Sneaked past the dormant sentinel;
Spread its maleficence with its sinister hand..
Blinded the denizens and rendered them dysfunctional.

Immaculate was one against this virulence
Kept to his vows and ingrained benevolence
But branded he was , an outlaw, a renegade:
He fled to wilderness and lived without aid.

Poetic justice remained fictitious,
Went on the story unceremonious.
Starlings light years away waited to see
How the curtains fell on this marquee.
